Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box July 2017 Review
TGIF, beauties! ♥ It’s time to reveal the goodies from July’s lil’ hot pink beauty box a.k.a. Petit Vour! If you’re new to Petit Vour (ahem, how is this possible??), it’s a monthly subscription box that comes with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering July’s box is valued at $38) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
July’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
OSEA Sea Minerals Mist, $16 – Osea is BAE… for a long-ass time now. Granted this line of skincare is a bit spensy, everything they make is hella effective and squeaky clean. This is a nourishing elixir that helps prepare skin for serums and moisturizers. It’s made with mineral-rich Patagonian seaweed, Dead Sea salt, and aloe vera. Love using this to set my makeup, too.
Zabana Essentials Coconut Sugar + Salt Body Scrub, $4 – Ooh, yum, this smells like chocolate deliciousness. I just peeped the ingredients, too, and they all look edible, ha! I haven’t tried out this scrub yet (only sniffed it), but I’m excited to. It’s made with a blend of pure plant botanicals and minerals that help nourish and exfoliate skin. Love that it has a lil’ ziplock closure. Hoping to get 2-3 uses out of this bad boy.
Adorn Cosmetics Mineral Brow Dust, $5 – This is marketed as long-wearing as well as water and sweat resistant… I’m intrigued. I also think the color is spot on for my particular brows. I’m just a teensy concerned about the possible messy factor with it being a powder, but we shall see.
Tay Essential Oils Bar Soap in Juniper Lake, $4 – Diggity DANG, this soap smells GOOD (sexy, earthy, ocean-y), and I love that they use essential oils. This brightly scented cleansing bar is also made with skin reviving ingredients like sea salt, French green clay, cocoa seed oil, and shea butter.
R.L. Linden & Co La Balmba Rosa, $9 – This healing rose balm definitely smells rosy (me gusta), and the formula is ace. It applies smoothly and effortlessly and leaves a bit of a glossy finish. In addition to using this on your lips, you can also use it to soften skin, heal cuticles, etc.
Overall impression: There’s great value in this box – $38 worth of goodies for $15 (with free shipping, yassss!). Box faves include the Osea facial mist and rose healing balm… it’s always hard to narrow down favs when I’m legit excited about each product, though.
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
